Shipping

We aim to process and ship online orders on the next business day. However, while we endeavour to get your order out for delivery as quickly as possible, sometimes delays can occur. Where this happens, we will email you to update you on the progress of your order.

For orders within Australia, we charge a flat shipping fee of $10 for purchases under $150, and FREE Australia-wide shipping on purchases of $150 and over. We also offer an express shipping option for a flat fee of $15.

Special offer: Oceanfire Surf offers FREE postage on surfboards & softboards to delivery addresses located anywhere along the NSW coast between Wollongong & Coffs Harbour– if this applies to you, simply select this option at the checkout. Boards are safely packed for transport by our experienced staff and are shipped directly from our Belmont, NSW shopfront to minimise handling.

Please note:

  • Free postage excludes certain items (such as surfboards, to some areas) – see [below] for items that incur a postage cost.
  • O. boxes cannot be used as a delivery address, so please make sure you use a physical address.
  • If you have any special delivery instructions – like “beware of the dog” or “please use the intercom at the front gate” – please contact us after placing your order, so we can ensure that the delivery company get your instructions. Tracking your parcel

Once your order has been shipped you will be sent a confirmation email containing your tracking number and shipping information. We use Australia Post for most of our deliveries and some couriers to manage deliveries to different areas.

Important information regarding deliveries

  • To ensure you receive your order, we recommend there is a person over the age of 18 at your specified delivery address on the day of delivery (available through the shipping company’s parcel tracking system) to accept delivery of your package. Items will not be left on the premises if a person over the age of 18 is not present to sign a delivery acceptance for the package.
  • Please ensure your selected delivery address is easily accessible by the courier/delivery driver – all boards are generally sent out for delivery in larger trucks, which need ample room to park and manoeuvre within a reasonable distance from the selected delivery address.
  • If your package is not able to be delivered – due to accessibility issues for the delivery vehicle or driver, or the lack of a person over 18 years of age to accept delivery – the package will be taken to the nearest depot and you will be required to arrange another delivery date with the shipping company/courier service or collect the item from the depot yourself.

Oceanfire Surf is unable to assist you with any problems related to the delivery of your parcel. Should you experience any delivery issues, please contact the delivery company directly.

Click & Collect Service

Oceanfire Surf offer a Click & Collect service for customers who live in the local area and would prefer to collect their purchases from our shopfront – simply choose this option at the Checkout.

Most purchases will be ready to collect within 30 minutes of your order being placed/processing your order, but we will send you an email/a text message to advise when your item is ready for collection.

Once your order has been processed you will receive a confirmation email containing the details of your purchase – please ensure you bring photo I.D. or your confirmation email with you when you come to collect your order.

Our shopfront is located at Shop 1, Primewest Belmont Citi shopping centre, 41 Macquarie Street, Belmont, NSW. Please note that orders can only be collected during opening hours.

Frequently asked questions

If a product is available to purchase online, does that mean the item is definitely in stock?

Our online stock is linked to our physical inventory, so if you can see an item online that means the item is in stock. However, while we try to keep our inventory as accurate as possible, there may sometimes be errors in the system. In this instance, we will notify you as soon as possible and give you the option of waiting for new stock to arrive in store and be shipped out to you, or having your purchase refunded. Should you elect to have your purchase refunded, Oceanfire Surf will process a refund on the same day.

When will my order be delivered?

Most packages (including/excluding larger items) will be delivered to your chosen address in 2-7 business days. Oceanfire Surf has no control over the delivery process and accepts no responsibility for the time it takes for your package to be delivered to you once the item has left our premises.

Please be aware that COVID-19 has had a significant impact on many manufacturers, stockists, and couriers or delivery companies, so delays may sometimes occur. We know you want to get your order as soon as possible, but we ask that you please be patient. Please also be aware that:

  • delivery dates may vary due to weekends, public holidays, sale days or unexpected schedule disruptions.
  • shipping services may exceed the 2-7 business day delivery time quoted above when shipping to regional areas.
  • you should use the tracking information provided in your confirmation email to trace the progress of your delivery and contact the delivery company/courier regarding any delays.
