At Oceanfire Surf in Belmont, Lake Macquarie, we want you to be completely happy with your purchase. If you experience any issues, we’re here to help with a simple and fair returns process for both in-store and online purchases.


Faulty, Defective or Incorrect Items

Items purchased in store

We take pride in offering high-quality surf gear, wetsuits, and accessories, but if you discover a manufacturing defect or fault after purchase, we sincerely apologise.

What to do:

We’ll assess the issue and work quickly to repair, replace, or refund your item as required.

Items purchased online

We stock trusted surf brands, but in the rare case that you receive a faulty, defective, or incorrect item, we’ll resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Steps to Return a Faulty or Incorrect Item:

  1. Email us at shop@oceanfire.com.au

    • Include your order number

    • Provide a brief description of the issue

    • Attach a clear photo of the item

  2. We’ll contact you with return instructions.

  3. Once we receive the item, we’ll inspect it and offer:
    A refund
    A replacement
    An exchange or store credit

Note: Refund processing times depend on your payment provider’s policies.


Returns and Exchange Policy – in-store purchases

In-Store Purchases

While we do not offer refunds for change of mind, you can exchange full-priced items or receive store credit, provided:
You return the item within 14 days of purchase.
The item is unworn, unused, and in original packaging with tags attached.
You provide a receipt or proof of purchase.

Online Purchases

If you’re not happy with your order, contact our team to discuss your options. While we don’t offer refunds for change of mind, we do offer exchanges or store credit.

  1. Fill out the Returns & Exchanges form (included in your order or downloadable from our site).

  2. Package the item securely in a box or satchel with your invoice and completed form.
